UAPB Football Football Announces Spring Practice Schedule For 2023

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff team announced the slate for its upcoming spring schedule this year in Pine Bluff. Spring practice for the Golden Lions football squad kicks off in March, when UAPB will host practice and scrimmages on March 14, 15, 17, 28, 30, and 31.

The Golden Lions will continue into April 1 on (Lions Fever Day), 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 17, and 19. Spring practice football schedule will conclude on April 22, which will be the Golden Lions’ annual Black and Gold game held during the 150th Founder’s Day Weekend.

The Golden Lions fans will get a chance to see an early look at the new football team at the spring scrimmage under new head coach Alonzo Hampton, who took over as head football coach in February of 2023.

Under Hampton, fans can see freshly new systems being put in under offensive coordinator Bobby Acosta and defensive coordinator David Calloway.
