TSU Football Spring Game To Be Held On Saturday Morning

The 2023 TSU Football Spring Game will be held inside Durley Stadium at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 15.

This year’s contest is family friendly as vendors, a kid’s area and various bands including the TSU Ocean Of Soul will be in attendance. The contest allows TSU fans a sneak peak at the 2023 Tigers as the team has made several significant additions on both sides of the ball in addition to its coaching staff. The Tigers, under the direction of fifth-year head coach Clarence McKinney, finished the 2022 season with its best record in eight seasons and best conference finish since 2000.

Season tickets will also be available for sale on Saturday as five home games, homecoming on campus, the debut of the SWAC’s Florida schools and a pair of Football Bowl Subdivision opponents highlights the 2023 football schedule. The season kicks off on Sept. 2 against SWAC rival Prairie View A&M on Sept. 2 at Shell Energy Stadium (formerly named PNC Stadium).

Admission to this year’s spring game is free.
